When installing a hydraulic handbrake in your car, you'd typically have to drill holes or weld a bracket in place. We understand that not everyone wants to do that, so we've made these bolt in brackets. The brackets bolt to the stock gearbox shifter hole and allows you to fit our hydraulic handbrake assembly without modifications to the gearbox tunnel.

- Laser cut from 5mm thick 4130 Chromoly sheet and zinc coated for longevity
- Includes 4x replacement M6x20mm bolts
Inside mount = mounts inside/within the center console itself, this will require trimming beneath the AC unit when used on both the left and right-hand side.
Outside mount = mounts outside the center console itself, no modifications required to the trim when used on both the left and right-hand side.

For the 350z AT Tunnel - INSIDE Trim Mount the transmission tunnel will require one tab to be flattened & some minor sound deadening removal and also only work with the LOW style handbrake seen HERE
We cannot confirm fitment of the AT Tunnel mounts to V35/G35, only Z33. Please contact [email protected] if you do have an automatic V35/G35.
NOTE #3 Outside mount when used on the drivers side may have contact with the OEM seat when the seating position is close to the steering wheel, the OEM seat can still be used but can cause damage with prolonged use.

What does the AT Tunnel reference mean?The automatic transmission tunnel is different to the manual transmission tunnel.
So if your shell was originally an automatic, you would need to use the AT Tunnel mount, every other mount listed is to suit the manual transmissions.
Will this work with "insert brand of hydraulic e-brake here"?
No, this bracket is designed specifically for our hydraulic handbrake assembly.
Are any permanent modifications required to fit this bracket?
The side mount brackets can be installed with zero modifications. The console mount option will require trimming of the center console and cutting a hole for the lever (obviously)

The kit was great with everything needed. Take your time and you should be able to make a decent cut out for the lever to come through the trim mine was a 03 so your results may vary.hoping to upload a picture soon as I’m pretty happy with how it all came out
I initially came from having my handbrake just mounted to the trans tunnel under the center dash. I bought this bracket because it looked cleaner and I thought id be able to put my HVAC controls back in without the handbrake hitting them. After mounting and using the handbrake at multiple events, it has ALOT of flex when using it. I can visibly see the bracket starting to bend up slightly over time.
My HVAC controls still somehow do not fit in the dash without the handbrake pressing them back out. Im kind of leaning towards going back to just mounting on the trans tunnel unless I can figure out some sort of solution to bolt the bracket down better in the front so it doesnt flex up as much. I absolutely love GK products and will continue to by them. this is the first one I've ran into any sort of issue with. Just wanted to give a heads up incase no one else mentioned this problem.
Hi Landon, you are 100% right. It is best to use our optional support bracket if you're not welding our bracket in (it's an optional item available on our website).

Fitment was really good on the bracket, but I did have to weld a tab to the front of the bracket, and then to the trans tunnel because I noticed that there was a significant amount of flex whenever I yanked the handbrake. If I didn’t reinforce it, the hydro master cylinder would just be smacking the bottom of my head unit. Overall though, it’ll super happy with the bracket for the price. I think the inside of console install came out super clean!
I haven’t had a chance to take my car to the track yet to fully test the e-brake mount but the mount feels solid, i got the left side exterior mount easy to keep an eye on the fluid level incase of a leak which i doubt since I’m using the e-brake kit also from gkteck with the dual caliper mount. Every single package come with stickers for the extra HP you know.
I’ve never had a bad word to say about Gktech products. Their angle kit, wonderful, affordable and an absolute game changer. Their Dual caliper brackets, subpar, very pretty and more sturdy than a fat ass oak tree. The hydro itself, very pretty and minimal, however a little bulky when compared to other brands. Their upper control arms, perfect, just perfect. I can go on and on about all of the greatness of gktech products until i get to their Hydro Mount for INSIDE the console. Not to be confused with the outside console mount. I spent a good day installing my dual caliper setup, the lines are just a bit too short to run them completely underneath your interior and through the car. Fine, get some 3/16 hard line and a few fittings from the parts store and you can run them underneath everything and out of view.
Get everything hooked up and bled after bench bleeding the master cylinder they provide, and then put everything together and TRIED to go rip it, upon the first 35-40 mph entry, i pulled the “yank-stick”(gktech term) and nothing happened, it was the same initiation that i typically do in my other 350z with a PBM hydro. The hydro mount bent straight towards me on the first pull, and just bends everytime you try to skid. It is not my hydro or my install, i have done this many times before with much better results, Save yourself the money and just weld a bracket on or mount straight to your trans tunnel.
Hi Shawn, thanks for the feedback and sorry to hear of your troubles with the hydro mount. It's really odd as we've used the brackets on our own cars with no issues but we have seen other feedback similar to yours. As a result of this, we're currently making an additional support bracket to be mounted from the rear which I'm happy to supply to you at no cost once they are made up (should be within the next few weeks). If you are after a quick solution, bolting one of the rear mounts through the trans tunnel will provide the most support but understandably, some customers may not want to do this.

It was a simple installation and the location of the handbrake is perfect. Paired with the extended shifter, they really are comfortable and nice additions to my full interior Z33
Can easily be moved forward an additional 2+ inches to clear the seat, placing the handle adjacent to the steering wheel.
Works better for those using OEM seats and/or >6ft
Hi Cody, unfortunately this is not possible without losing significant strength to the bracket which by design, is at around the limit of what we are happy with. If you'd like to go further forward I would suggest welding/reinforcing the bracket significantly.
Quality is top notch as all other GkTech products. Fits like a glove and is is the perfect spot so now I don’t have to weld the handbrake to my trans tunnel like I was dreading.
