As with almost all products we design, they're made from actual need from our own personal experience. Whilst doing a quick coolant bleed on our low km V35 development vehicle recently, the factory plastic bleeder port decided to self destruct into small fragments.
With the prospect of the OEM plastic unit doing it again, we decided to make our own CNC machined aluminium version. To make life easier, we've also slotted the bleeder plug so that it doesn't need to be removed all the way to bleed the system. Being aluminium, this unit is guaranteed to last for life.

What modifications are required, is this hard to fit?
No modifications are required, simply remove the fragments of the presumably broken OEM unit and install the new CNC machined aluminium unit.
Can I install this myself? If so how long will installation take?
Yes, it is straightforward install. Install time should be around 5 minutes, you will also need to bleed your cooling system after this has been fitted.
I accidentally ordered the cap version, but now need the barb?

high quality, great customer service and a fairly fast postage time had my car up and running again pretty fast! not sure why Nissan made the bleeder valve out of plastic but if you have the stock bleeder valve do yourself a favour and swap to this before it does what mine did and fall apart making the job a lot harder!
I purchased this heater bleed valve to fit to my 2018 Nissan 370z. I am very happy with it. It is solid and very well made and fit perfectly in very little time. It worked perfectly when I changed and bled the coolant. I highly recommend this modification to the 370z as the original coupling is plastic and known to break.

Product far superior than I thought it would be and far better than the original Nissan Factory part
bad design, it doesn't seal properly, tried many o rings, but they end up cracking in multiple places, Bought a CZP bleeder and no more coolant smell inside the cabin. Wasted money

To date we have sold over 500 of these units and only ever replaced 2 O-rings that were presumably damaged during assembly. Our customer feedback and reviews reflect this.
All of our products come with a minimum of a 12 month warranty and in many cases, a lifetime warranty. Did you try and reach out to us to get your unit replaced? I can't see any communication from you.
What can I say the item is exactly as described, beautiful quality and fits perfectly. And service and delivery were prompt, even despite the fact that I ordered at Christmas time!!

Good product. I bought it to drill and tap a 1/8NPT hole for a coolant sensor. The heater core is constant flow and the bleeder is on the coolant inlet side of the heater and radiator so a good spot to add a gauge sender .
PERFECT FIT WELL WORTH IT OVER THE ORIGINAL PLASTIC ONE
I bought gktech coolant bleeder port to install in an uppermost water line so allow air into the top when I drain my boat engine for winterization. I haven't tried it yet but I expect it will work well.
