What does the bolt that screws into the top of the adapter do?It's for sensors that only have a power wire and are grounded through the sensor body (threads) to the adapter body. In that case you need to run a ground wire from the adapter body to the chassis ground to get a good ground for the sensor.

I have no complaints with the performance of this product, this is the first time my g35 has had hot air at idle in years. However, it would be amazing if GKtech offered a mounting bracket version that accounts for the engine having a GKtech plenum spacer. I just had to lengthen the holes in the bracket that mount to the swirl pot so that the pot sits lower and clears the hood when closed. I don’t expect GKtech to account for mods from other companies, but something that allows proper fitment when incorporating other mods from the same company would be phenomenal. (Photo is prior to modification, with swirl pot sitting too high)

Big fan of this kit. Install is super easy, big shout out to GKTECH for the instructions and video, but also for answering my emails very quickly. Components are super nice and good quality. I have never done an install this intrusive on a vehicle and it was so easy and rewarding. Only caveat I would add is that pot itself does not mount on a Kinetics plenum as there is no provision on the plenum. I just mounted it using a Home Depot bracket.
Super easy install, and makes bleeding the cooling system a breeze! Took the car to the track the day after getting everything together and it ran cool all day. Great quality and instructions as always.
I have been fighting getting the air out my motor ever sense I pulled it and put it back in I have bleed my car numerous ways yet overheat with full mishimoto setup I was lost till a friend told me to get this to get the air out of my car in less then an hour I had super hot heat at idle like you should and no more air no more over heating issues either could literally watch the swirl pot swirl instructions where decent only thing I’d add is what the best spot to cut into the lower rad hose is thanks for a great product
Bought a swirl pot to help with my cooling system, install was straight forward and the hose was easy to route. Works an absolute treat! Was super easy to bleed up (these things are not easy to bleed) whole thing took about 40 mins!

I had some cooling issues after getting a very small amount of air in the system, and it was just enough to cause some issues. I decided to do this and the thermostat, so that made it even more difficult, but it wasn't all bad. I used a funnel to fill while it was running and you could see the vortex forming making it fill more quickly, which makes it seem to me like its working exactly as it was designed to!
Had some issues trying to get it to fit, but understandably as where the location to mount this is tight already. Stoked to be able to bleed the coolant so easily on my VQ now!

So during installation I had a difficult time getting my lower radiator hose (the upgraded Z1 silicon kind) to clear my ac compressor after I installed the lower swirl pot return line adapter. It sure would be nice if there was just the slightest bend in it, or maybe not having the 1/8 npt block not be so large. Other than that it seems to work just fine.
Installed easily using online diagram. I would suggest if using the kit with their hoses to get small bolt/screw hose clamps to make tighter as with theirs was a couple small leaks but may have to do with my higher pressure radiator cap. Also a little bit of teflon tape worked for me on top threaded outlet on swirl pot and on lower radiator hose connector. I had a small problem that was my fualt and John the sales manager helped me out tremendously. Been using for about 2 week now and everything works great. 6/5 stars will definitely use GKTECH in the future.
Extremely impressed with the quality of the kit. Super easy to install and adds another element to protect the coolant system. I have installed this setup on my boosted Z and no longer have to worry about spiking coolant temps. 11/10 Wish I had bought this many moons ago!!!!

Extremely impressed with this product and it’s function. First of all install was very easy and able to be done very clean. But at the same time I’m a sucker for that “racecar” look and this is subtle but stands out. Car preformed flawless all day at the track. Coolant temp stayed optimal all day long. No cool down laps needed like before.
