V2 Polyurethane gearbox mount

Great product no complaints only a recommendation. There's two long bolts used for the exhaust hanger and only 1 washer per bolt. I'd recommend adding another washer at the Allen side as it pulls through the mount extremely easy. Even if you only snug it up over time it may work itself into the mount and become loose. If you don't have the exhaust hanger mount than this doesn't apply to you. I'm sure gktech will address this and add a couple washers with the kit since they listen to their customers and are the best.

Great transmission mount, not too stiff, makes the car feel brand new, as I went from a solid mount previously so the change was very dramatic!

Only thing I would change is to add sleeves for the exhaust mount bolts to ensure when you are tightening the bolt it does not suck in the washer into the poly
if you happen to overtighten it(I was using power tools I should've known better...)

Great experience using this product, wish I bought this one in the first place. When you open the box you can feel and see the quality in the product. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone who needs to replace their transmission mount.

Just in case you were wondering it definitely fits a R33 Gtst, you will need some short spanners to get to a couple things though. Feels excellent once installed!

Pretty easy to install, shifter doesnt shake anymore so yeh

I think this is pretty cool how you guys want feedback and actually make it a little more personal. So maybe you can see my order history. I ordered the solid trans mount initially and loved it! Made my single cam ka s13 feel more alive (literally shook me). HOWEVER, I figured out that with a poly or rubber engine mount you may want to use something less stiff (or the same stiffness) as your transmission mount. Imagine this, if I had a small block Chevy in my s13 and used rubber engine mounts and used a solid mount on my transmission…. the twist from the torque of the engine, when I rev it up, will break or bend the transmission housing because it has no play, or ability to twist with the engine!
Luckily my motor could barely power a lawn mower, BUT the principle still applies and I didn’t want unnecessary stress on my trans. If it were me, I would perhaps mention in the item description for all your solid aluminum trans mounts that it’s advised not to couple it with a softer engine mount.
Just my two cents that maybe could save someone’s day, or maybe, I’m just the dumbest person to order on GK Tech and no one has ever done this.

Went front the solid bushing to this one and its 100x better hardly any vibrations and no clunky noises. Perfect replacement for factory mount and no shifter wiggle

I originally had bought the solid transmission mount and ran it for 3+ years. The noticeable increase of in-cabin vibration was tolerable with the windows down, but not so much with the windows up. Since this is my daily, I decided to try the Polyurethane version and the results were better than I expected. Both mounts are quality products, but the absence of feedback throughout the vehicle is very much appreciated.

Haven’t had a good chance to test it but before when my old gearbox mount was in 3pcs the gears felt sloppy and the car would pop out of 4th now it feels great gear changes are smoother doesn’t pop out of gear, can’t wait to test it in the 2021 drift season

Highly recommend replacing your old 25+ years with these. Feels great to drive with. Would also recommend getting yourself the poly engine mounts. Both very affordable and won’t let you down.

Easy install and much sturdier than other brands which come apart after a few drift events. Also no vibration in the cabin.

I installed this mount Along with your poly engine mounts while rebuilding my engine, only to get the engine back in the car to start it and realize I have a spun main bearing. The mount looks cool, was easy to install and I assume will be great whenever I can use it. I’m Salty about my engine problems. Please quit asking me to review your products I haven’t used them yet like I planned.

Can’t beat it for the price, Easy instal and noticeable difference over old stock bushing.

This bushing was my problem solver. Everytime I got on throttle I could feel the play from my old trans mount. This tightened everything up and shifting is smoother than ever.

Still waiting on someone to get back to me...

After my stock mount completely let go, I needed a replacement fast and yet again gktech has saved me. This mount along with the engine mounts gktech sell has given my 13 new life. I can't thank you enough gktech cheers guys

i just love how this mount, it feels great, does its job and is very nice to look at when you actually go under the car.

excellent product, stops transmission shock and makes driving under hard conditions feel less harsh on the gearbox, this with the hardened spring kit and solid shifter bushing make the gearbox feel way better. only downside is quite an increase in vibrations but can easily live with it.

This is a great mount , holds the gearbox well on my s15 spec r adm.

However you get a slight vibration through the steering wheel as this is more robust than the oem rubber mount. However this doesn’t affect its performance.

So, didnt even know gktech had a urethane mount until browsing through their site to see whats new. This mount ended up being under half the price of an alternative mount i used on my sr20 swap previously. Decided to try it out l, bc why not. Well, after installing it, i have to say hellz yeah. Its being used on my s14 rb25 swap. It doesnt vibrate at all, obviously made the shifts waaay smoother and precise. I literally have nooo vibration throughout the cabin yet it feels so firm. Would 100% recommend it to anyone.
