The GKTech V3 chromoly rear HICAS delete bar with toe arm mounts replaces your stock HICAS steering unit and we are now offering a combo option.
This combo gives you the ability to adjust and tune your vehicle's rear toe. The lengths on these rear toe arms are fully adjustable to your specs when doing an alignment and with the right adjustments, straight line and cornering of your vehicle will be improved.
Essential for Motorsport or as an option to fix the broken expensive OE Nissan part.
This combo does have some options which include;
Straight toe arms or bent (high clearance) toe arms?
The straight toe arms are made from 7075 Aluminium as is best suited for a car that is not super low as the S/R chassis rear subframe mounting stud can make contact with the toe arms on lowered cars and also hexagonal shape all the way through for ease of adjustment.
The bent (high clearance) toe arms are made from Chromoly steel and offer a 20degree bend to suit people with low to super low cars as they offer clearance for the S/R chassis rear subframe mounting stud, which is critical on lowered cars.

Note - The Gktech hicas lock bar only requires the S13/R32 toe arms which are 40mm wide, hence why that is the only toe arm listed, this means it will still work on any chassis you are fitted the kit to in general.
Rear knuckle bushes?
The polyurethane bushings are a direct replacement of the OEM bushing and has a very similar feel to the OEM bushing.
The spherical bearing is high misalignment and offers a more direct and predictable feel. There are two sizes to choose from so we suggest measuring the I.D of your knuckle before purchasing.
Note - Almost all Nissan rear knuckles are 30mm but we do recommend measuring before purchasing. The GTR/Z32 typically use 30.5mm but we have seen mixed results.
- Feature high quality 5/8" Teflon lined pillow ball rod ends which eliminate the flex found in factory rubber bushing offering a more direct and predictable feel.
- Billet CNC machined ends with recessed ends for additional strength.

Where do the small black inserts go?They are to be fitted to the back of the lock bar to space it off the subframe.
Will this fit my car?
We can only confirm fitment for the vehicles listed above under "vehicle compatibility". If your car is not listed there, then we don't know if it will fit.

We only sell the part listed on our website. If it's not listed on our website, then we don't sell it. Sorry.
What's the advantage of using the GKTech Hicas delete combo?
The HICAS system is meant to help with handling however given that the technology is 20 or so years old, it's certainly not great and is hated by most. Chances are if you have felt HICAS work while driving with a bit of excitement, you want to remove it ASAP!
Removing the HICAS steering rack gives you more predictability of the rear of your vehicle. A must if you plan on drifting your car or taking it to the track.
What modifications are required, is this hard to fit?
No modifications are required, simply just remove your OEM Hicas unit, lines and OEM balljoint on your rear knuckle and refit.
Is there anything else needed for installation?
No, you will need an alignemnt after that has been done, but in terms of the kit it will arrive as shown in the product photo.
Can I install this myself? If so how long will installation take?
Yes, provided you have general mechanical knowledge as this is relitively straightforward. Installation time should be around 1 hour. However, being a suspension component we recommend only a trained professional to install this product.
Will my HICAS light stay on if I install this HICAS lock bar?
Yes, the HICAS light on your dash will stay on if the ECU thinks that it’s not working correctly. This can easily be resolved by removing the bulb for the HICAS warning light behind the dash.
How do I know if my car has HICAS or not?
HICAS equipped cars have a power steering reservoir level sensor built into the cap and two wires and a float inside the reservoir. If you lift off the power steering cap with those wires the HICAS light will turn on when you start the car. Looking under the rear of the car you will also find hydraulic hoses and another steering rack device hooked to the differential and the rear suspension to steer the rear wheels. When the key is turned on and motor not started the warning lights come on (HICAS) light shows up then.
Will I have to get a wheel alignment after installing these?
Even if you have matched the the kit to OEM. We still do recommend a wheel alignment after any suspension changes.
Are these suspension arms legal for use on street cars?
Our understanding is that any suspension arm with a rose joint is not legal for street use in Australia. However, we do recommend that you contact your local RTA for clarification/confirmation. Whether you use a suspension arm with a rose joint on public roads is at your discretion.
How long is the warranty on these arms?
All GKTECH suspension arms come with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects and the Teflon lined heim joints come with a 1 year replacement warranty. We stock spare heims so even after the 12 months is up we can still help with replacements, worse case scenario they're a 5/8" heim joint and are readily available through your local autoshop.

Pretty easy install over all. Would have been nice to have some instructions or a video to follow, there are parts left over, I'm guessing because I deleted all the lines as well but it would be nice to know what their purpose is.
I purchased these arms to replace the V4 arms with the bend as they hit my exhaust. These fit perfect on my R32 GTR
So far so good no complaints bolted right in came with more parts than expected overall very happy was a bit pricy but everything is nowadays and it u want quality u won’t find it cheaper

Kit looks awesome. But don’t include a paper saying there is video installation of your product if there isn’t one. I’ve searched and nothing. To be fair the introductions look easy to follow and the product is top notch. Little things like that are my biggest pet peeve so I had to share.

Kit worked beautifully, would 100% buy again. The only thing I'd recommend they give a little sachet of rubber grease with the kit as that's all that I needed to supply other than tools

Hicas delete was simple and straight forward to install. Instructions that came with item was easy to follow with pictures for reference . (You must get a suspension specialist to setup after install if you DIY , unless you have the know how to dial them in) I have been running\using the hi cas delete combo on my car for 19 months now on a daily driven car and have found no problems with it at all. It also has improve my cars handling, making it more predictable to control around corners when there is loss of traction. Thank you Gktech !
